Left flasher double speed

The left-hand flasher on my L460 started flashing twice It’s normal rate. Historically that means a bulb is gone but this time both bulbs front rear are flashing okay. Any ideas out there? 2006 S/C owned from new. Black, sand with black inserts. Shes a thirsty girl. ( now gone)

well eventually I remembered to check and its not that! All indicators are working the same left and right except left is double speed inside the vehicle! One thing I did discover is that there are indicators in the lower valance which only operate when the tailgate is raised.....who knew? Well not me anyway.. I suppose it stands to reason if you have hazards on and the tailgate up. Anyway, so back to the problem I guess thats one for the diagnostic machine when she goes in next. 2006 S/C owned from new. I had this problem on my car too. Land Rover Assist diagnosed a faulty front light unit, but in discussion with other technicians Land Rover Bedford identified the indicator stalk unit as being the cause. And they were right because once it was changed the problem was solved. I am sure your dealer will be able to help - at least it is a known fault.

Worth saying that on my car it was causing the front left indicator to work intermittently, so probably worth getting it resolved sooner rather than later. Good luck with the fix, and I hope you are otherwise enjoying the car.
