United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

The Part number you need for a 2011 is LR035813 and thats the whole linkage - you cannot get the motor separately - I had the last one from Plymouth I believe. A new one (if you can find it) is not cheap either at £265 +VAT!

The hardest part about doing the job is removing the wipers! They have been on there a long time and the two metal types have reacted to each other! I used a wiper puller but that alone wasn't enough... some brute force and ignorance was required with a hammer to get them loose... Scary so close to the windscreen! But they do come off eventually.

Other than that, put the bonnet in the service mode (with the locks) and remove the scuttle panel. There are four bolts that attach the linkage to the bulkhead. I also released the top of the air inlet manifold and brought that forward out the way to allow for the hands to get into the bolts...

Aside from the wipers, not technically challenging and is about a 30 min job

It is very straightforward to swap the motor alone. Much harder to change the linkage too. There’s a good write up on here on how to do it.

I seem to have been lucky so far with my second hand motor….if that’s not the kiss of death then I don’t know what is Laughing Bish.

Now on my 3rd wiper motor replacement to try and fix this, the latest one is Chinese copy that fits an E39 (direct fit for L322). Still the same.

Swapped the relays in the fuse box, still the same.

Final thing I am trying now is a battery reset. If that doesn't work I am out of ideas.

My wipers work fine, but stop in the vertical position.

Well now I'm really confused. Battery reset didn't do anything.

Hail mary, I took the linkage of the spline, laid the wipers down and reconnected. Now fixed. Shocked 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

We have this problem, LR035813 is on backorder for a month or so now.

Can anyone help?

I guess we will have to find a used one!

Just buy a used E39 one on eBay. Easy to fit. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue
