4.4 L405 SDV8 Heater Core

Hi,
I have gone through the manual but struggling to find the flushing connection points for the cabin heater core? I need to do a flush to try and correct the problem I have i.e. passenger side always blowing cold ,whilst the driver side is only just luke warm.

Cheers

I've recently had the same issue and flushed the core with no change, turned out it was the fuel burning heater diverted valve at fault, swapped it out and heat restored!! L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Good to know. Where are the flushing points, as I want to rule out the heater core first, then move on?
Was changing the diverter valve a big job?

There are no flushing points other than disconnecting the quick connects on the bulkhead and connecting some pipes for flushing. Diverter valve is a straightforward job (easier than flushing), remove r/h/s front arch liner rear section, undo the fbh exhaust and then rest from engine bay. Have to remove windscreen scuttle and r/h strut brace then couple of bolts and lift out the fbh to gain access to the valve on end of unit.

Hope this helps L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Not sure if it applies to the 405, never checked, but the 322 used to have 2 diverter valves, 1 for each core, on the passenger inner wing. Each openes depending on the call for heat to that part of the cabin. Sounds like your passenger side one is stuck/duff. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
