I made up this to release the connection. I think that the two bits of copper pipe were for the union in question, and the black thing was for a different connection.

Next ACE pipe I could do with some advice on how to disconnect is from the other side of the engine bay, I guess it’s the other half of the cooling line for the ACE.

Hi all.. I'm trying to source a replacement for my ACE pipes.. they are leaking at the driver's side front (behind the wheel arch.. further down.. I've attached some pictures below.

They rust from day one and leak in 5-10 years, IMHO a waste of time fitting second hand, most of the cost is in labour....
