FullFat Less Tomorrow For a couple of Days

Time for MOT again along with yearly service and while she is in they will hopefully fix the fault with the reversing camera and the problem that i have with the heater as i have to run for about 45 mins before any heat comes out , plus methinks i will need the rear brakes done as well . Big Cry Big Cry

At least they are giving me a Landrover Handbag 2.2 ED4 2 wheel drive tomorrow for a couple of days . Razz Razz

So no doubt it will be a sore one when i pay the bill on Wednesday … Shocked

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE Td6 Adriatic Blue

Having to pay for insurance on a so called courtesy car really winds me up. At my local stealers they offered to put me on their insurance for a one off payment of £7-10 (can't remember the exact amount). In the end I didn't even pay that as they messed up with parts and had to have the car for longer than first expected.

Dealership has just called , they cannot do anything with regards to the cost of the courtesy car ….

But the reason for the delay in getting the caliper is down to The Japanese Tsunami so i am told by the parts department.

Thought calipers would have been readily available in the UK not Japan ……. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I hope you haggled on the labour rate if they are taking the P with the insurance.

I never understood how the same mechanic working on the Range Rover would cost me £120 per hour, but when he worked on my 1997 Camel Defender it was £80 per hour?
Same guy, same dealer... Question

So I negotiated. Whistle

always amazes me how different dealerships have different rules about courtesy car insurance. Its easy for them to put people on their insurance. No such problems when you're test driving a car!!
