Suspension Fault - advice sought

Evening all,

Went to start the RR this afternoon and it would barely crank. It turned off the ignition and tried again - it was the same but she fired up. Rev counter did nothing for about 5 seconds then came to life - doesn't normally do that.

I could hear an intermitted tick ... 3 seconds ... tick ... 3 seconds ... tick ... from the back of the car and then the following suspension fault appeared on the dash. Lights on the centre console height switcher flashed for a bit then went out completely.

I plugged in the GAP tool which showed a battery voltage of 12.5V and the following fault code:
U2007-67 (AF) Valve(s) circuit - Algorithm based failure - signal is incorrect after the event

Surprisingly not much on Google when searching for this fault!

Took my other car out for a few hours and started the RR again when I got back. Fired up no issues this time but the suspension fault is still there.

Any advice / thoughts appreciated!

If you get a low battery voltage on these cars this causes all kinds of fault indications.
Try a steering angle sensor reset before going any further - with car running turn to steering to full lock one way, hold for three seconds, the go to centre, hold, opposite lock, hold, and then back to centre and hold.

I work away for long periods of time and then usually have to charge up my battery, when the voltage drops I get suspension faults, plus ABS faults etc, after a good charge, running the car at idle for a while and carrying out this reset and moving the car back and to over a few yards has always eliminated all the indicated faults.

Thanks! Steering angle sensor reset didn't solve the issue unfortunately.

Since the battery voltage is quite low, I've ordered a new one (Varta I1 110AH), so will post an update once it's fitted and faults cleared.

A new battery solved the issue! Old battery was down to about 40% charge when I tested it Shocked

I may have a battery drain which I will spend some time trying to identify this weekend.

It's cold at this time of year and if you don't use your car much, especially on a car that's as heavy on electrics as the RR, it's easy for a battery to become discharged.

Your old one might well recover if left on a charger overnight if you wanted to keep it as a spare.
