As the title says, got this randomly displaying on the dash. More of an annoyance than anything major, but does anyone have any idea how to turn this off using the IID? Probably in the Gap manual somewhere, but I can't find it

We had this on our our disco sport, but can’t remember why. At the time it was at the dealer for a warranty job and when we test drove it, it came on. The tech said had seen this message on a few cars before, but at the moment I can’t remember why.
When I remember I’ll post, if I can’t remember and no one else posts anything I’ll ring and ask.
Edit..... was in as the stop start wasn’t working and low battery message kept showing.

Cheers Lad, seems a bit random as it doesn't always come on. I'll do some more investigation with the IID (which I just transferred from my old car yesterday). Loads of software updates to apply in the meantime!  SDV8 AB MY 2019

Mine has started doing this since the MD had it in to service and fix a couple of things they should have before I had it. Am wondering if its because they left the battery off too long and the battery on the telematics module has been depleted and won't charge.

Its going back in Tuesday for them to look again. Worst thing is they knew about the message as it started when they were test driving it before I got it back and said they had fixed it.  Current: RR L322 2010

I've been plagued with this issue on my MY2017 L405 - it's been back to the dealers again today, and they tell me that the battery needs replacing. They have kindly (!!!!) returned the car without actually doing the work - unbelievable.

It's the telematics battery that needs replacing, occasionally they will recharge over a few weeks, especially if the vehicle has been on a forecourt for a while or as noted above, if the vehicle battery has been disconnected for an extended period. The limited functionality is no SOS calls or location tracking if the starter battery is disconnected.

Are there any other opinions or ideas on fixing this please?

My 2014 started with this warning yesterday and it's permanetly on now. The vehicle has been used very regularly in past months.

It's a rechargeable battery, they don't last forever. There will be a specific DTC set for the battery.

Hi guys, had this message a couple of weeks ago accompanied by a call from InControl.

Had message on the app and a phone call in the night last night with them telling me there’s an ‘antenna issue’. Could this be the module battery? Main battery isn’t showing ‘low battery when I get in and has been on the CTEK a few times recently 2019 MY SDV8 Autobiography in Velocity Blue
