Ive had this happen a couple of times, especially on start up. In my case the solution lies under the passenger seat. There is a large connector. Dont open it, just wiggle it around, the light goes out.its worth remembering that because the light is on the nearside of the dash, there is only one light for the whole system. I have heard people say that its only the nearside airbag.

DrF, Move the drivers seat around, grab the wiring loom under the seat and give it a wiggle! Usually works |

That's what I like about this forum, such precise and technical resolutions.... I'm having the same problem and the iCarsoft directed me to Right, side airbag B0028-13. Sure enough a good wiggle and moving the seat back and forward and it went away, no doubt to return at a later date. There's loads of info on the internet about fault finding on SRS and I notice that Famous 5 do a new part harness which links the underseat connector to the side air bag Part No FF012191. Hopefully it won't come to that as it seems to be a bit like defusing a bomb |
