United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Ipanema Sand

So the RR has gone and I’ve bought a 7 series…..time will determine whether it’s a good choice! However phoned the insurance this morning - RAC - to change the car, the underwriter won’t quote on the BMW but we can get a quote fir a new 12 month policy with a new firm, came back at over £1,000 with LV. I politely declined as I’ve done a bit of checking . So spent the morning on comparison sites, Direct Line and LV.LV came back in mid £500!

I’ve eventually gone with Churchill who were consistently the cheapest across all the sites.
Cancelled with RAC and their fee for cancellation matched my refund! Who would have guessed. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Interesting, please post the url we can all benefit from such information Thumbs Up or was it a mate of a mate down the pub Whistle

Seriously, if you download the Ghost app and enable it, then if your phone is in bluetooth range with the car, on the drive etc. Then the Ghost is not activated, when you think it is. A bit like keyless which of course we have all disabled?
So dont use the Ghost app, dont even load it on your phone, use the sequence of buttons.
Also 2 Apple AirTags with speaker disabled are my back up, as if they do get in, the JLR tracker is the first thing they rip out, and then if they put it on a low loader etc I can at least see which port they are driving too on its way to Africa Crying or Very sad 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Interesting article I thought;

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy79dq2n093o

The discovery of 600+ stolen cars as a result of port authorities inspections I think proves that this is the way to go in order to ultimately stop this global trade.
