I wouldn’t say mine is laggy like the L405 was and I wouldn’t call it unpredictable because it has a consistent action. But, the transmission or accelerator does have a strange software setup. When driving gently all is well, but call for a little more from the accelerator and you get a lot more than you were expecting. In this respect I would agree that it seems non linear. I can’t tell for sure if the transmission is dropping a gear when it does this and that’s what’s causing it. It is certainly overly aggressive in the non dynamic setting. I don’t expect any software updates to address this now though given the P530 engine has been updated. |

I agree with this, it makes parking it in small spaces quite awkward as it either doesn't move or suddenly lurches forward. My wife doesn't like driving it as the throttle is so unpredictable. 2015 RR SDV8 Vogue SE 2014 RR Sport Dynamic 1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster |

The car is in at present. Very good response from the service team, had feared they might say yes sir they all do that.

Well they had it 3 further times and eventually said it was a characteristic of the car.
