Hello All, I have recently had a cracked screen replaced by Autoglass. It took 2 months for them to get the screen and then two visits to actually fit it as they were missing some trim pieces. The old screen had issues with the heated glass in that a few of the wires were not working so it was patchy in use. However the new screen does not seem to me to be working at all.

Today I removed the passenger side trim piece to access the two wires that connect to the screen and tested to find 12volts when the button was pressed, I can also hear when i turn on the screen the engine loads up very slightly so clearly something is happening. However the screen does not seem to show any sign of heating up. I can't feel any warmth or when it is iced up as it was today no sign of the wires melting the ice.

Are there any other connectors on the screen ?

I had an issue when my windscreen was replaced because they connected it up incorrectly. There was one connection just for the wiper are and another for the whole windscreen.
