Wondering if this will only be offered to cars in the UK. Car theft isn’t really a thing in Switzerland but these cars are often driven across the continent for holidays etc 2018 P400e AB LWB |

I guess seeing as LR won’t retail anything much older then 2018 these days they’re doing their usual trick of washing their hands of the older cars. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

It'll be down to the owners of pre 18 models to sort the security out for themselves... JLR couldn't give a shiiite... The same as they were with P38a engines! |

Pandora security systems look decent and preferable to the Ghost if, like me, you’d rather have an additional fob then fart about entering a code every time you get in the car.

I've fitted a Meta BLE42 system that uses Bluetooth tags, nothing to do other than have it inside the car with you. I've also disabled 'keyless' entry and put a hidden switch across two wires that are critical to the vehicle starting, in the event that everything else is bypassed. |

So my local service centre said they’ve never heard of the update but would be willing to give it a go at my expense. They also said that if they brake anything in the process then I would have to pay to put it right.
