Altox Fbh timer

Hi,

i've been searching for a while now, but havent found what i am looking for. As a former D3 owner i have an Altox fbh remote timer.

Is there someone who has imstalled this timer on a Range Rover succesfully?

I loved it on the disco, using the app, and wherever you are, you can fire up the fbh, even above 5⁰

Would be nice to see if someone can helpe out

Thanks Stan,

I found those threads, they just say it can be done. I just wondered if installing would be the same as in the D3. There are as far as i can find no technical write ups.

Bodsy i know from D3 😄 I could ask him there.

With that altox installed, do you still have the timed climate function, or does altox overrule all that?
And do the fans start blowing when activated?

I successfully created a FBH remote triggered by the phone by linking a 4G gate opener and timed relay together. And to save on battery drain, I linked the whole circuit to a thermistor, so it is only on standby below the temperature I set, the rest of the time the circuit is switched off. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Well, at it again. Fbh works as it should, i can program it and turn it on manualy. But still, no luck with the altox timer. I get code w9. I found a topic regarding a bmw with the same problem, and they said the car goes to sleep, and the processor cant react. I connected my altox to the telestart module. My idea was that the altox would wake up the telestart module, which then would wake up the heater. Guess i am wrong.

Any ideas how to wake all those modules?

Final update.

After a conversation with altox we found everything should be ok, wiring and connections.

Still no heater. Then came the message that altox had to be in analog mode, so with one sms to the module, putting altox in analoge mode i now have a working altox heater
Big thanks to the guys at altox
