Looking for advice please. I have a 3.6 Tdv8 2010, I have changed the battery to 019 AGM about a year ago it will always start the car ok but it just doesn't give enough power to run my fbh. In fact my fbh has never been able to run in timed heat mode. I have read that some people change the battery to a 020 type. Has anyone had similar issue and the 020 has helped.

It might not be the battery, I've modified several L322's L319's & L320's due to FBH not firing because of volt drop in the circuit, it's pretty simple, run a new fused supply from the +ve terminal of the battery to the power connector on the FBH. 2mm wire & a 15A fuse is ideal.

It should be self-explanatory when you see it, there is a 2-pin connector with heavy wires and a couple of connectors with much smaller wires, one goes to the coolant pump, the other is the control wires - I think a 6 or 8 pin connector with three or four smaller wires.
The red/yellow wire is the one you want to connect to the battery - ignore the above wire & fuse sizes, they're for L319/320 - you need 3mm & a 20A fuse for a L322, 2mm has a high enough rating (25A) but 3mm (33A) will reduce any volt drop, Also make sure the fuse holder is sufficiently rated.

What length of 3mm wire do you need please for this mod?

Sorry, I never measured it - I just used it off the spool. A metre would be more than enough, I used to replace the receptacle in the housing to reduce the number of connections but if you want to joint it to the existing then I'd recommend using a crimp connector with adhesive lined heatshrink covering not soldering.
