Correct me if i am wrong but i haven't seen many reports on here of FFRR being stolen? Surely if you believe the reports this forum would be awash with stolen reports?

Now on the defender forum its a regular occurrence.

Or is it that most owners on here take necessary precautions???

This is though the perfect storm of cost of living, high interest rates, high fuel costs and ULEZ.

Coupled with underwriters running scared. I cant see a software update cutting it with insurers JLR need to do something physical.

Range Rovers have always been horrendous historically for depreciation. Going back a bit but my 04 was 20k in 2008 with a list price of 56k. So 35% of its original price after 4 years!

Seems like we are heading back to those days.

Current underwriter won't quote as my 911 is no longer with them, and the cheapest was 3k with the other underwriters available to APlan / Howden

I've don't all the major comparison sites and go compare came out cheapest with Tesco and the only one to be sub 1k

NFU don't want it, struggling to think of who else to try. Current

416,000 range rovers registered in uk at 2020, of course some of course some could be the non FFRR models as well.

So i guess the ones getting stolen are generally not owned by true enthusiasts? Massive leap by me i know

How many people post once or twice a month though - ie fairly active forum members - that is the 64,000 dollar question ??
