2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey
[SOLD] 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Evening all. So after 3 years of trouble free ownership covering 30k miles, it's sadly time to pass Fatty on to the next owner. Changes in Business mean I no longer travel the same and hence don't need something this big and capable. I said I'd sell it a year ago but it's been a pleasure to own so managed to convince myself of reasons to keep it haha and hence did another full year but it's time to admit it's done little mileage these last few months.

So, to the detail - If I miss any specifics or detail just shout out and I'll do my best to fill in the gaps as soon as I can:

120k miles
Fresh MOT 20/10/2023 with no advisories
Good history (took a while to find one that had been looked after) when purchased with the key jobs such as seals on the oil cooler etc. having been done by Mikey up in Dundee (MMP whom the previous owner used)
Since purchasing I have used James @ Henshall Engineering for servicing and major works and have stayed on top of small maintenance myself. To give a flavour of what's been covered in the last 3 years alone:
-Both front shocks (full units) replaced with genuine LR parts (£1000 in parts)
-All suspension arms at the front (more than once some of them)
-Front lower ball joints
-Full brakes, discs & pads all round plus brand new genuine LR rear calipers, handbrake shoes and fitting kits
-Full service @ Henshalls including ALL fluids, inc. gearbox flush, diffs, transfer case etc.
-EGR temp sensor to remove known fault
-Rear track control arms
-RHF CV boot
-Rear hub bushes both uppers and lowers
-Full Hunter 4 wheel alignment
-Odds and ends such as gas struts on tailgate, bonnet, lower tailgate, new lower tailgate straps, fuel cap restraining strap, key refurbishment
-Further service Dec 2022 @ Henshall Engineering

As you can see it's had whatever it needed whenever it needed it both by the previous owner (not known to me but it's clear he was fastidious and the car was a credit to him) and by myself during my ownership. The car is in used but great condition, at this mileage and condition it's just broken in and has many miles ahead. Interior is in superb condition, only the drivers seat shows any sign of use really with the rear of the car looking like it's never been sat in. Seats look grey in the photos but they're actually really dark charcoal/black in the flesh, seems to be a trick of the light on camera.

Known issues/faults : I like to be honest, so feel it fair to mention. The rear prop bearing was picked up at service last year when James saw the car, we discussed replacement (£500 ish if memory recalls) but I was advised to just monitor and replace when it gets worse. At this stage it's around 8000 miles on and has not worsened any, so likely has another 10-20k miles maybe before it's needed, but feel it's fair to mention. James knows the car so sure he'll vouch for it if needed, and I could whole heartedly recommend him if anyone is looking for a specialist to continue the upkeep after purchase etc.

Struggled to price it with the current market, they're a little all over the place. It took me a long time to find this one with the service pedigree it had @ time of purchase and I've done my utmost to continue that. It's definitely a step above some of the rubbish that's out there.

£11,495 ono - open to a discussion by all means but please be realistic with any offers. P/X a possibility

Winter wheels (same style, full set), rubber mats, rubber boot liner, Gap iiD, some spares etc. all by separate negotiation once car sale is sorted

Located in the North West

Hi Mike. Very new to this forum so not sure if this is how it works.
Can you list the ‘options’ included? Didn’t have many selected as new? For example did it just the original Vogue SE spec or not?

Hi Mike - I’ve been loitering on the FFRR site for a few months having owned commercial disco 4s for 7-8 years. Can’t pm you yet, but keen to have a chat with you. Thanks; Hugh

Evening @gingerprince Yeah I probably should have been through some of the options, though most can be seen from the pictures I guess. Not sure which are SE standard and which are options tbh but to give a flavour:

-Heated and cooled semi analine leather
- Heated rear seats
-Piano black interior finishers
-TV tuner
-Ivory headlining with black/charcoal seats and carpets
-tilt/slide powered sunroof
-Removable tow bar (factory fitted)
-Heated steering wheel
-Heated front screen
-electrically adjusted steering column
-full terrain response system and the 8 speed gearbox (as per all 4.4 TDV8's of this age)

Sure there's tons more, so apologies if I've forgotten or missed anything. If more spring to mind (or if anyone else can see something I've not listed feel free to shout out) I'll add them on to the list 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

PM replied

FYI for everyone else - yes they're 20" wheels and are running Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres which all have plenty of life left in them, circa 4-5mm from memory

Looks a lovely vehicle. If the sale did not work out, I'd be interested to discuss.

On the other hand, if it does go through I wish the new owner much enjoyment and delight with a rather nice FFRR.
