You could try a cheap OBDII reader to see if it's the OBD port? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Sorry, I should have said the port seems to be fine, my icarsoft and a cheap device work just fine.

Mine was a bit hit and miss when I used to plug it directly into the OBD port, but has been 100% fine since I bought a short OBD extension cable off eBay.

I have been using an extension cable from the day I got the car due to the poor condition of the cars socket, but this finally gave up so I soldered a new connector in place. So its just my IIDTool giving problems.

OK that was too much to hope for, it does not work in the new socket without the extension.

What are the voltages with the Icarsoft so you can rule out the battery? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I had the Icarsoft LR V3 and it gave me errors like that when I plugged it in on 2 occasions ! The faults were not there until I plugged it in (just to make it clear) I returned it to the Ebay seller and that was that. |

I don't have an IID but you're welcome to plug yours into my car to see if the issue is still there - I'm working on Saturday |
