L460 activity Key

Hi all, new member here, just bought my new 2023 P530 Autobiography First Edition. Smile very excited.
unfortunately the person who ordered the vehicle custom, and did not end up buying, did not include an Activity Key, and I've always wanted to have this for the beach so i can swim and not worry about having the FOB on the beach..
Sales rep said i could just order it later...

I try to order one, but it seems the L460 isn't in the list of compatible vehicles.. Has anyone else been able to order one of these AK post build?

Certainly was an option (066CA) and compatible - either a supply constant or security thing, I imagine.

Strange, since ALL other models still do have it, and the previous 2020 ATB had it.
maybe another cutback from shortages?

Good question. The Apple Watch app has the "start climate", "unlock" and "beep and flash" functions, so I wonder whether you can leave the key in the car and then lock it with the Watch? That was effectively what the Activity Key did, I think? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

i did send them a note asking if they might be willing to sell me the retrofit hardware and install instructions, and potentially if i get good at it could become a partner in Australia for this install.. especially like the start/stop memory setting option too!

I just tried the Apple Watch app with my Defender and it works! I put the key in the car and then locked it using the Apple Watch. Walked off and then came back and unlocked it again using the Watch.

I'm actually quite impressed! I've always fancied an Activity Key. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

Contact at GAP Diagnostics says they should be able to code the Activity Key to L460 as it uses the same ECUs as other platforms

Not that I ever have, but you can of course go surfing wearing your Apple Watch too. So I guess, it's similar functionality? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
