Heater blowing cold air

Hi I have a 2013 L405 SDV8 4.4. When I set heating to hot the fan will run but no hot air. The car has a coolant leak (1 litre top up every 500miles) but I am careful to top up as soon as low coolant light comes on. Any advice to point me in right direction of possible causes would be great
Thanks

Fix the coolant leak first, there's probably a vapour lock in the heater circuit or the diverter valve is not functioning correctly, but TBH, with a leak, none of the coolant circuit can be relied upon to work as intended.
