I've got a couple of on going issues with my suspension(in hand ish lol) anyway still new to the gap tool and everything ...heres my question on the gap tool in live data there is galley pressure ,now the way i have understand it would i be right in saying the this relates to the valve block next to the compressor and not the reservoir pressure ... as i can watch it drop which canr be a good thing ...thanks

yea i did as well but when reading up on someone having a problem with car dropping over night (got that issue as well).they said it was the valve block 🤷‍♂️ so im not sure

It would be impossible to operate the system without having a sensor for the resorvoir tank and the 'gallery pressure' is the only one available that fits the description. They can leak due to corrosion. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

so to be clear the gallery pressure is relating to the air reservoir -yes- and if that is correct then that would explain why the gap tool shows the pressure dropping in the reservoir due to a leak

yea think i will i did spray the air connectors before ....my tank is rusty so can believe there is a leak new tank me thinks

I had all sorts of warnings from my IIDtool and in the end I found a big hole in the reservoir, due to corrosion. Changed it and all was well again  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

right I've been doing a bit more searching on this and i have found out that the air tank itself dose not have the pressure sensor attached to it directly ,the sensor is attached to the centre valve block(the one next to the compressor) .....so if I'm right in my understanding the car can drop on all 4 corners if the air tank has a leak and or the centre valve block has a leak ..... i think

AFAIK there are valve blocks to each suspension bag so even if the tank is leaking the suspension should remain up unless there are other issues. A leak on a single corner will cause the tank to drain overnight and all 4 corners to drop as the system will stay active and try to keep the car level until it runs out air. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

yea that's right (forgot about that bit ) i have done the soapy water from a spray bottle but could not see/find a leak from any of the airbags and or airlines/connectors at the time ....so what I'm going to do next is raise the car to off road height remove the relay and then that should stop the system trying to level out i am correct in saying that -yes so then it should only drop at the corner with the leak ( in theory) anyway

That's a good first test. Also a faulty height sensor can cause issues which this will help isolate. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

yea true i have already replaced front offside height sensor ....think i will replace the air tank anyway as it is
v rusty so will need to be done
