2011 ashtray 12v socket

How does one go about removing / replacing the 12v socket in the ashtray?

It isnt working - and before you ask.. I checked the fuse. 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Mine doesn't work either but I couldn't see a way of getting to it without dismantling the whole centre console so left it alone. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
