IMHO yep change them, bit like if you remove a gearbox from a manual then replace the clutch

There's a rubber hose that runs under the Supercharger which is part of the hoses mounted to the aluminium bracket which is secured to the rear left of the engine as you look at it. If you buy that pipe from Land Rover it was around £300 in 2022. However, the part is made by Gates and is available in a Gates bag for £100 (or it was in 2022!). Rob at Duckworth Land Rover supplied me with the Gates one.

Thanks David. I have recently had a new water pump, all the pulleys and tensioners as new belts, so I will go with the pipes under the charger 👍 |

I replaced mine purely whilst I was in there but the old ones looked despite being 15 years old at the time. They’re rubber rather then hard plastic so they don’t go brittle. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Any vac hoses you cannot easily get at should be renewed. Vac leaks cause a lot of problems on vehicles of this age. |
