Infotainment Issues

Hi All,
I am having an issue with the Infotainment system in my 2018 Vogue SE losing functionality on drives over one hour. Everything stops responding. The radio volume will not work, climate is not adjustable, mobile data disconnects, Satnav is still showing route but cannot be adjusted and bluetooth disconnects. If I stop for 10min or so it all starts working again. Any ideas on the possible issue?

Needs codes read to be sure but could be the IMC (infotainment unit) overheating due to failed fan.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will check for any codes relating to this.

I had one of the first 2018 facelift Vogue SE cars and I hate to tell you but I had all the issues you describe and more, with the Infotainment system which was a brand new system at the time. It was quite "exciting" (not really!), 'cos every time I got in the car I didn't know what would work and what wouldn't!!

It took 2 years for all the issues to be resolved as my dealer couldn't find the faults and eventually after threatening emails to JLR HQ, they replaced the complete module with a 2020 unit which solved everything.

JLR launched the 2018 facelift before the software was ready and it was an in-house system instead of the systems produced by expert software companies which supply most of the motor trade.

I hope you get your problems resolved All LR cars from 1984

I had the same system and same issues with my Jag F Pace. I paid for the “premium” ICTPro package and it never worked properly. Back to the dealers 3 times in the space of a year forr upgrades, but never worked as it should. Got rid of the car after a year to get back into a FFRR.

From what you say, you have the same bug fest system. Sorry!
