2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

CVD Shocks

Just bought a 2011 4.4 TDV8 and it has an Adaptive Dynamic warning on the dash.
Just been looking today to see what the fault is and noticed it has different tops on the Shocks.
Looks like one has been replaced at some point but I’ve never come across this before.

You can buy a repair kit from Land Rover that has better wires in it. You def need one for the non standard side as least Id say.

That wiring is def not factory….

If you check faults i bet you will get

Thanks for putting the Link up.
Done a bit more testing as I have a spare shocker in the Garage.
Plugged the wiring onto that one started the Car and the Warning Message cleared, so I now know it’s deffo the cause of the issue.
So next weekends job is to change the strut out and hopefully that will fix the issue.
Think I’ll get a repair kit and fit some new wiring as well to be sure 👍👍 2001, 4.4 TDV8, Vogue, Baltic Blue

The connector and wiring is standard factory, just that the connector is visible being plugged into the fake block rather than plugged into the shock itself and therefore hidden by the genuine block.
