It's a newish (three year old) Full Fat LWB Autobiography being offered for sale on auto trader by a non JLR dealer

I have the VIN (and the Reg Number)

I've done a CarVertical from the VIN

But I don't get the spec. In particular I don't get the options

I want to know which options were fitted from new - in particular whether it has Head Up Display and the 1700 Meridian Reference Sound System. I'd also like to know any other options fitted . I don't really want to ask the dealer as it could work against me (can't really be to my advantage?)

Is there a way of doing it?

If you call a Land Rover dealer and find a friendly person in the service department they can send you the entire build sheet from the chassis number.

Land Rover Customer Services might be able to help you with that too.

I asked for one from customer relations when I bought the L405, it was very poor with little information, nothing like the comprehensive one I got for the L322... I got more info from the Vindecoder site...!!! Worth asking though I suppose.... Pete

It’s becomingly increasingly difficult to get full spec from the main agents now.

What’s most annoying is it is not a GDPR breach to provide such information as no personal information is being exposed - suppose they’re trained in this way and not much anyone can do.

Recently, ive been using the below company and they have been great and will email you a full factory data card the same day. Take Apple Pay too.

That's a good find but I wonder if it's the same info you get free from JLR customer relations...

I found the 322's were very comprehensive but the 405 was very poor and not that useful...
