I’ve had a regen fail after 15mins on a dual carriageway due to having to slow down to less than 30 to negotiate a roundabout in my early days of monitoring with the “Kot Kit” so defo it won’t happen at 20mph. Even dropping the speed for just a few seconds is enough to fail a regen.
On Sunday, my most recent regen lasted from Sunderland to Middlesborough (30 miles) so regens are not going to be successful in built-up areas.

Strange that, I have often gone below 30mph and active regen kept going on, it only stopped when I got caught up in roadworks and it only then stopped after 5mins of 10-20mph slows and stops which was expected, but before the slow down I was doing 60mph and regen was well hot in the 550 range. But all that was with a normal AR in progress, there was no amber dash warning message. I guess there is different criteria depending on the urgency or maybe its temperature dependant when if normal AR is in progress if it cant maintain temperature above a certain value it cuts off?

I have even been stopped on my drive for 5 to 10 mins with a AR near the end of its cycle and still running and here's me helping it with a few revs Rolling with laughter hoping it will complete.

I would love to see the flow chart on this process. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
