When starting it, do you get a clunk from the starter?
Tbh, if there's oil in the air box I'd not want to try starting it again so turning it by hand is probably your better option.
If there's oil in the air box it's likely a good sign that the turbo has failed and filled a cylinder with oil. I've read that leaving it parked will allow it to drain eventually but I don't know if this is true or not.
