how to remove ceramic coating from black plastic

hello team

I bought a little pot of ceramic coating and applied it to my black plastic pillars and now after a while it's all white-ish and smeared.

Maybe I have applied it badly, but it's got to come off. I tried brake cleaner but that didn't budge it, grateful for any tips.

. Cheers, Greg

Try rubbing alcohol first.

If that doesn't work, acetone will remove it. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
