My (front seat) wings were gold rather than lead and the runway pitched/rolled! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

NotCoutance , I had taken the wrong road out of Flers and wanted to get back on track towards Vire. As I said lost , and the farmers track was the sat navs choice towards home. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Some years ago we used to stay with French friends who lived near Torigni sur Vire. Always liked that part of Normandy. John

Just down the road. We are at the top of the Vire valley & we are blown away by the scenery despite having a house there for over ten years. Full of fascinating Ww2 history and delightfully locals .

I know this one has featured before, but is a beautiful place to visit, especially this morning complete with a good dusting of snow.

I came over Nant Peris to Capel Curig last Thursday, but in the comfort of a 4.4 tdV8, not on a push bike
