FFRR and Sporty SE used the same 18" rims for the 2006 MY - these had the greater RRS off set and stuck out more. There is a thread on here about it

Are you fitting wider tyres like on the RRS or FFRR width tyres?

i have 9.5j [extra inch] ,RRS wheels [extra 4mm]...if you get a ruler and measure an inch +4mm out from an existing FFRR 20'' [8.5j] rim you'll see that the RRS will be still under the arch..

And the tyre width?
FFRR is 255 as you know.

4mm extra offset and an inch wider rim should mean they stick out about 17mm more no?
Half the inch plus the 4mm.

FFRR tyres stick out further than the rim anyway, so if you are using FFRR width tyres I doubt there is much difference anyway.

here are two pics , the first with 18'' FFrr wheels [8j],
and the second pic with RRS wheels [9.5j]
i cant see how you can claim that 'more' muck will be thrown up on the sides of the range rover...s

It was a quick response, but looking at the facts it's balls. There is very little in it. 17mm is minor.
I still prefer the look of FFRR rims though. Wink

i understand and appreciate what you are saying richard Wink , but if you look at the standard FFRR wheels they look to 'tucked' in at the back so the little extra width of the RRS wheels helps to fill in the arches...

Thumbs Up it isn't an extra 1 inch plus the 4mm sticking out, its 12.5 mm and a proportion of the 4mm is lost in this 12.5mm anyway - so there is very little in it - as seen in Scarey's pics. Some of the later spec 20" FFFRR wheels have the RRS offset anyway and the 18" ones certainly did, so I don't think fitting RRS wheels is an issue other than visually, some of them look ok, others look awful, I think Scarey's look ok almost factory (ish) FFRR.

There was a post on here 3 or 4 years ago a gentleman had fitted the std RRS 19" wheels to his FFRR with GY Mud tyres and there were pics posted...
