Just been quoted £1400 for my new D350 AB which is a ridiculous amount and 3x what I paid for my AB SVA some 2 years ago "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

My L460 insurance cost less than my L405, around £700 from memory but the prices are very location dependent. MY23 D350 HSE

All my usual insurers wouldn’t quote or gave ridiculous quotes. Many commented the Range Rover thefts are putting underwriters off. I think as time progresses they be will be able to distinct the l460 from the l405 as it now has the same security as the new defender which has seen low theft rates. MY23 PHEV HSE

Anyone else bored of waiting? No further forward than 20 months ago without a delivery date in sight. Was told 9-12 months for delivery at order. I’m cancelling. Maybe another time Range Rover! 2023 Defender p400e

That’s sad because they are so good. Can’t you just forget about it and buy something else until it eventually arrives? MY23 D350 HSE

They are a lovely car, my parents have a 510e which is so nice to drive. I was unexpectedly left without a vehicle after Christmas so bought a defender p400e and have been surprised how much I like it. May just keep it for a year and then review what to do! All the fun of a brilliant new car has been lost…. 2023 Defender p400e

My insurance was around £700 last year , up on the old FFRR @around 5/600 , insurance is due again in august, just checked a comparison site..£2000_00 Will see what the renewal offer is. Update … renewal came offered at 1300 then 1050, new company just under 900.00. Better policy Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Interesting to hear what you get offered as a renewal premium, mine went from £450.00 to £1880.00 at renewal and I'm nowhere near London or a big city where the cars are mostly getting stolen from. Current fleet:

I've been told that the new RR will require a ghost alarm to be fitted as well as the Cat 5 Tracker - also to expect eye watering premiums and the car must be garaged overnight. |

The L460 has an integrated cat5 tracker with secondary authentication. You can also set it to guardian mode for enhanced alerting of activity. MY23 PHEV HSE
