Hi, my app cant'make contact since Wednesday.
I have driven the car 4 times since.
Though the app says the car is in sleep mode..

Whenever I had this before, it was a mishap in the central,
or a problem with the servers.

And in two days it picked up again. Not now.

Just checked mine, everything seems to be ok, maybe country dependent?

Thanks. Yes it often is a group of countries that is 'out'.

Just phoned the alarm desk of 'in secure' weiredly they say the can not reset the module.

That they can only do that after an alarm. Although with my F-Type, F-Pace ánd D5,
as well as this RR, they reset it. For example : I was in Spain and the system thought
I was still in Luxembourg ( 2 days earlier).

I also learned that if you start fiddling it doesn't help ; its a 'wild goose chase' thinghy..

So I just wait for a few days. If its not up again next weekend, I'll visit the dealer.

Strange enough, the route planner knows where my car is. But the trip registration is

Today it happened. A phonecall from the security desk :
they received a message my car was stolen...

Though I was at home, the car was charging not even 10m away,
parked under the carport (insulated foam filled aluminium panels).
Tracking always stops dead, also for the MX-30, as soon as we enter
the carport..

I forgot about it. But half an hour ago I got curious : did it reset the app..

So I checked the app : still on theft alarm..

I got into the car, drove it from under the carport : instand 4G...

But the app still didn't work..

So I phoned the security desk again, and indeed they received another theft alarm
as soon as I drove from under the carport.

They reset it again..

Now the app works, and there is no more theft alarm, and the remote app functions fully.

This it did do not since the 9th of august (this year.. )..

What I did notice is that I received last week several times the question " allow roaming ",
which I always confirm, and also is always "on"..

So I think the TCU is bust again. Or the SIM-module.. .. or the firmware itself stinks..

Quite predictable.

I went to the dealers on thursday. Since everything was working again,
they could not read any faults (they said..). Next time this happens ;
I do not ask the 'in secure' alarmdesk to reset the alarm. Instead I

I was getting so upset with this issue, that I wanted to 'escape' to PiviPro.

Sadly the wait of 12-14mnths for a new FFRR / RRS is too much for me,

so I decided to downgrade to a Discovery Sport.

To find out about any mishaps with those, I joined the forum and.. .. BINGO..

The same 💩 train happens with PiviPro...

Maybe I should get a BMW...
