Wondering what else he could do whilst he is here… not sure I need a remap and don’t think you can map EGR out on 4.4…

I know he does software updates… might be an option if they improve things.

Ian came out to Chesterfield for me a couple of months back.
Punctual, polite and was happy to answer my questions.

My SC has been far smoother. The peace of mind after seeing what was coming out of the car, and then knowing there was clean going in and then feeling the difference very much made it worthwhile.

Yes, looking forward to getting it done. I used to live in Hollingwood but moved to Dronfield Woodhouse in April.

Still contemplating a remap, which I did to the TD5 and TD6 but not sure I need more grunt… did I just say that?

Bet the SC is interesting, less torque but another 200 bhp….

Bodsy cannot remap the 4.4 tdv8. It’s an ECU out on the bench job.
Use Alive Tuning in Louth if you are close to them Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Ah, ok, cool, that’s cleared that query up then. I seem to remember that’s what you have to do now..🤣.

Gary who started Alive Tuning tuned my TD5 Disco when he was still working from his garage at home. That must have been about 2008.

Just a bump to this thread.

I’ve got Ian up to Manchester in early October to do gearbox flush, transfer case and diffs for me. Looking forward to meeting him and having the work done.

Just had Ian round this morning to do the gearbox, transfer case and both diffs. Arrived on time and all work was done within around three hours.

Very knowledgeable chap and knows his away around Land Rovers.

Yet to go on a decent run since the work has been done. Will report back in a few days time.
