Borg & Beck are a budget brand

I'd go for something a bit better quality, such as Brembo / Delphi / TRW / Pagid. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

As someone in the brakes industry for more than 30 years, I can tell you that Brembo do NOT make friction linings or discs, only brake calipers, ditto TRW. No matter what it says on the boxes.
A lot of Brembo branded Chinese products exist, so you have to be careful if going for non-JLR stuff.
There are some good German aftermarket pads and discs around, Jurid, Miba or Pagid etc.
Try searching “brake pads” “brake discs” on these forums, lots of info already on here.
There is a lot of bullsh*t ”smoke and mirrors” stuff on the t’interweb about brakes & friction, so take it all with a pinch of salt, and if in doubt, go for genuine JLR parts.  “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

It's no surprise at all that a brand name don't actually make it's own products and they are outsourced. Doesn't mean it substandard in any way. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Just to add, if yours is a 2008 I am fairly sure yours will be TRW, but please check.

Actually, just check that page in the post above-there are options depending on your engine size too.

The Brembo brakes are manufactured in Nova Milanese, Italy.
The pads and discs are manufactured er, elsewhere in the world, and not in Europe either.
The problem is that there are lots of knockoffs on the market, which can look exactly like the real thing, I’m sure Brembo supply-chain QA is very good on outsourced products, but when you license out manufacture to some Asian countries, there is always some risk of compromise. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

According to their own website, Brembo have disc manufacturing plants in Europe, USA, Mexico, Brazil and China.
