DPF or not

would my 2008 3.6 TDV8 have a DPF how can you tell if it has one 2008 Range Rover 3.6 TDV8 Vogue SE

When were DPFs introduced onto the 3.6 TDV8? Andy

2010 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE in Santorini Black with Ivory interior
2017 Audi SQ5 3.0 V6T Quattro in Volcano Red
2001 Audi Allroad 2.5 TDI manual with low-range in Highland Green. Currently SORN whilst undergoing some serious restoration!

Having looked at some other posts on here it seems some of the run-out facelift 3.6s did have DPFs. So, it seems it wasn’t the 2009 facelift 3.6 that was the change, but either as a late-run addition or only as an option.

That said, seems like every pre facelift 3.6 did not have DPF at all, which is useful info for me and others I’m sure. Andy
