United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
Torque converters

Good morning guru's, just wondering if the torque converter on a 2007 and a 2002 Range rover are the same. Just in case I have to swap mine.
I know of a good one on a 2002 RR that is sorned off road.

Regards

No, different boxes.

TDV8 is a ZF, the 2002 will be either a GM or a ZF depending on engine, but either way they're not interchangeable.

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

If you do find one for your box the labour involved in changing it is not really worth going second hand, could be a whole host of issues.... Pete

The 3.6 TDV8 uses the Y94 torque converter, ZF part no. 4168 027 074

The Land Rover part no. is TQB500210 or LR048684

Thank you for all your advice and help guys, the only reason I asked about the 2002 model was because I knew that one had already been reconditioned. Borrowed Grey 2002 3d 204k for a year
