Would someone be able to point me in the direction of any info. One of our TDV8's has a somewhat erratic fuel gauge please.
Tried searching not found anything as yet. I'm just finding my feet, Having worked through a classic and P38!

Search the forum for fuel sender issues.

Occasionally the fuel sender needs replacement and/or a wire breaks on it. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Or, as was the case with mine, it’s just corrosion on the plug connector. A very simple and easy job to do on the drive, with no special tools required. Just make sure your fuel tank is as empty as possible (siphon out sparenif necessary) and then access the plug connectors for the 2 sender units. Disconnect/connect multiple times (like 20+) to clean contacts and then reconnect everything. Should be fine for many tens of thousands of miles again without the need for the splicing new connectors TSB update that is overkill if you ask me! Anyway, search as above; there’s a few threads on this with photos and additional information to assist! And good luck! 👍 Andy
