AHBA - Is this standard on L405 Vogue trim?

I hope this isn't a daft question. Just recently joined the club and bought my first RR. I'm delighted. When driving at night I didn't seem to have Auto High Beam Assist or Adaptive Front Lighting. I checked the manual; Youtube and this forum on how to activate the AHBA but nothing happening. No dash indicator, no high beam. Also seem to be missing the AFL. I had these on previous cars so really miss it. Can anyone tell me if these are fitted as standard on 2017 Vogue TDV6? Most documentation leads me to believe at least the AHBA is standard.

Nope, neither are standard on a MY2017 Vogue spec.

Just get some uprated Osram Nightbreakers in there, or some LEDs off AliExpress if you’re brave. Thumbs Up

The standard basic headlamps in the L405 are cr*p, the L322 has better lights.

Yesterday, I was going through the Tyne Tunnel (mine has the older uprated Osrams “+150%”, not the latest “+200%” ones) I was behind a newish Tesla, and due to the curve of the tunnel, headlights shining on the pale concrete wall could easily be compared. The Teslas lights were about double the brightness of mine Big Cry

All sorts of dubious output claims on AE though, so its a proper gamble on the LEDs, unless you pay top dollar for UK supply. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Thanks Gremlin500. Disppointed about the adaptive lights which are a real benefit in the narrow rural roads where I live. The AHBA is also slightly annoying because I gotten fat and lazy in the last few years. Do you know if it is possible to retrofit either?

Agree 100% on the brightness of the standard headlight. It's just not good enough > 30mph. The throw is too short and too dim. Creating anxiety at higheer speeds cos you just can't see what's ahead. Do you remember the Osram bulb code?
