OK, having had a look at the headlining it looks like it needs a clean.
Any advice?

A dry powder product called Pancrasol which is made in France, extremely difficult to find here in the UK

Or Brakleen (Brake Cleaner) which is basically the same chemical used in dry cleaning clothes. But be careful, it is a pretty powerful solvent so try it on an unobtrusive area first and try spraying on a clean rag and wiping rather than spraying directly on the stain.

When I got my current vehicle it had a couple of black marks on the headlining (light stone colour) and I just used dettol multi surface cleaner which worked fine.  2003 Vogue TD6 - Adriatic Blue - 2010 Facelift & 2010 20" wheels

Thank you very much indeed for all your advice. I had to buy a new vacuum on sat so i 'tried' it out on the headlining. Excellent, just 3 little stains [] to get out now - will start with the baby wipe option.
