the original customer must have opted for the plastic over the wood as the wood comes as standard on vogues.

RE the wood.

As already mentioned all Vogues had wood "Unless" you asked not to have it. However, because the silver end caps are basically HSE/SE you loose the puddle lamp on your Vogue :'(

I can understand why some ppl may not like the wood, but in that cause surely you would choose piano black rather than plastic with sparkles in?
