After a bit of a long search and a failed attempt by another auto locksmith I have a fully functioning spare key fob thanks to https://ccautolocksmiths.co.uk.

Not without its challenges but he persevered and got it all working.

If you need one programming and are in the south east I would recommend giving him a call, hopefully save you all the hassle I have been through.

£180 all in and a nice bloke.

Does he provide the actual key itself, or just programs a key you've acquired elsewhere?

Yes he provided it all. It’s a 3 button fob with a flip out keyblade that was cut by a machine that uses the original as a guide. The fob is not oem in look or feel but that’s not a problem as it will just sit a draw I hope… 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8.

For anyone in the South, I can recommend Mario Auto Keys. Nice guy and he is able to make keys for the 2006-2010 cars also, and will even do the Bentley style key. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Alanm, there is a place in EK will do keys for you. I have a 2011 ff and got 2 new modem style keys done for about £200. If your interested, pm me and I'll look out the details.
