Not sure if the 6 pot l320 brembos are a direct bolt on on the 322. I think I recall it being covered on her somewhere in the past. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

@northernmonkeyjones The hubs on the facelifted 09/10 3.6's that came with the sliding calipers take the 6 pots, the earlier 3.0 TD6 era and the variants with the 4 pots don't.

Mine is 4.4 Tdv8, it comes standard with the 6 pot brembos the same as the 5.0 supercharged L322 and L320. The discs, pads and calipers are the exact same and are direct fit.

If you have a spare set fully reconditioned I'd put them on as the bleed screws are notorious for seizing in the caliper body through galvanic corrosion. Also the pins seize so maybe easier to just cut these through to remove the pads so you can pull off the calipers. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I would normally swap the calipers over, but my refurbished set are bright red and will look out of place on a L322. The red looks fine on a L320 but the L322 suit more subtle colours.

The pads were changed around 18 month ago so the caliper pins shouldn't be too seized (I hope)

I really don't think aluminium calipers have any place on a road car but what do I know, I only use the things rather than design them. On the BMW which uses 4 pot calipers to a very similar design as these mine were pretty much destroyed on the front within 5 years as the bed the pad sits on had galvanically corroded away. For this type of caliper I now do 6 monthly services on them to clean away any corrosion and apply Ceratec to the bare aluminium (they come bare from the factory) to protect it, especially over winter. My BMW calipers are now 8 years old and the pistons still move as freely as the day they were built, it's the rest of them that's the problem! AP put in stainless steel plates for the pad to sit against to prevent this happening but then their calipers are a fair bit more expensive.

Also worth being aware of is that if a bleed nipple is so badly corroded in as one of mine was (because BMW don't actually bother bleeding the outer nipple half the time) that it was beyond a helicoil then you can over-drill the hole and use one of these inserts: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265687130139

With any luck I wont be removing the calipers fully so wont need to bleed them. I'll paint them in situ. But at least I am safe in knowing that I have a spare set with removable bleed nipples if at some point I need to bleed the originals.

Managed to change the rear discs and pads this afternoon.

Did notice that the drivers side drop link was snapped so will need to get one ordered and fitted. At least that explains the rattle when going over speed bumps as I thought the sound may have been a loose heat shield.

That is crazy cheap. I paid about £130 for a genuine one, which I think was cheaper than MSRP, being about £150!

I looked at the purchase price of a genuine brand new light and I looked and laughed at the price of used light, so for £11 I took the chance and ordered from China, less than 2 weeks later it arrived.

Did have to cut the connection and crimp the wires together though.

Gave the inside a going over this afternoon with a wet vax. Once dry I then gave the leather a clean and added layer of protection, using Power maxed upholstery cleaner and leather protector.

New Brembo front discs and Pads fitted today. Had to admit defeat and send it to a garage as one of the pins in the caliper had seized and needed to be drilled out.

Big thumbs up to Bell Automotive in Deeside who sorted out the seized pin for me, highly recommended if your in the North Wales/Cheshire area.

I gave up when I found one seized, the garage didn't mention any of the others being seized so was probably lucky on that front.
