Hi all,

The new front
brake sensor I received is differing connection to the existing one, so I was thinking of just removing the sensor, I change my pads well before they wear down.

My question is…with any fault appear on the dashboard if I simply unplug and bin? 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Pretty sure you can just remove them...

If they do fault just cut the wires on the old sensor and join them together...  Pete

Yes. The sensor completes a circuit which is broken when the pads wear and interrupt the circuit. You would have to bypass it to avoid the brake pad warning light coming on. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate
