I’ve just bought an 2011 L322 and although it came with both keys, I’ve since discovered the slide out battery tray is missing from one and doesn’t seem to be available as a spare part.

Does anyone have an old or non-working key they no longer need and willing to sell so I can rob the battery tray from it??

Dealers sell the whole key body without the circuit board for pretty cheap money, ask Rob at Duckworths, pretty sure the last one I got had the battery holder....  Pete

Thanks Pete - I actually have two new genuine LR fob cases (LR052905) which I’ve transferred the internals over to, this is when I discovered the missing battery tray.

Unfortunately they didn’t come with this part in the kit, just the two outer cases. Jonathan

Shucks, that's a shame, just had a look through my key spares box... no luck...

You can get a complete key from Aliexpress for not much money, throw the rest away and keep the battery holder is a thought.....

Might be worth you PM'ing Adam. His forum username is RRUK.

He offers a service on the forum to update your L322 key to the newer, smaller L405 type key.

He might have a spare battery tray left over from a key that he's upgraded.
