REPLACING THE RANGE ROVER L322 3.0 TD6 IN TANK FUEL PUMP

Hi All,

I need to replace the in tank fuel pump in my TD6 Vogue. I watched this video to ensure I don't mess it up:



Then I searched for a replacement fuel pump - no problem, but I cannot find a replacement siphon unit anywhere. The pump suppliers I phoned said they only ever sell the pumps and you don't need to replace the siphon. Is this true? What is your experience with pump replacement?
