Yes, go on then make me green with envy whilst I have to wait so patiently !! Mr. Green
But of course, Love to see it, especially the leather inside if you can get a shot.

I decided to stick with the SE, but told them to add the recline/cooled back seats today, that's when I asked again about delivery.

I don't suppose you added Climate control heated windscreen ? I wondered if this really makes a big difference for keeping the heat out ?

Here you go. RE: Windscreen - was standard on mine - didn't specify but wasn't aware it did come standard. Am I right in thinking this is the windscreen with the little metal lines in it?

Thanks for the piccys - looks stunning !

No, sounds like you have the standard heated screen which they all come with.

There's a £435 ?? (or so) option to have a "climate" front windscreen. I think it's like house glazing so it reduces heat in the car from the sun and also keeps heat in when cold. So say reduces the need for high fan speeds to keep ther temperature stable......

Here's the bumpf :

"Climate control heated windscreen
Smart innovations create a more tranquil Range Rover cabin experience. Already soothed by the quiet of the vehicle's advanced engine technology, additional levels of acoustic refinement are achieved with a laminated front screen and front door glass. You can also choose laminated rear door glass to further protect the cabin from outside noise.
Designed to significantly reduce direct heat from the sun, the Climate Control windscreen and front side glass helps maintain optimum cabin conditions for everyone, which in turn reduces the need for high fan speeds. Regardless of outside conditions, driving pleasure is never compromised in the 2010 Range Rover."

Just interested to know if anyone invested in that to see if it was worthwhile.

My windows are definitely laminated. You can see the two panes of glass when the windows come down (front and rear). I wouldn't bother with that option, the HVAC system is great.

Yes, I think the Range Rover brochure & descriptions can be confusing. They almost make it sound as if they don't come with laminated as standard, but as you know they do. maybe it's marketing to try & get you to add every single option going.

I am having privacy glass which should help keep it cooler inside, plus the kids like being in the dark. Makes me look like a chuffing chaufer though ! Laughing

i'm just looking forward to my nice cooling seats ...

Does the cold air come out of the headrests too ? I didn't notice on the demo model I saw.

Nope they dont as far as I have noticed. With RSE the front headrests are quite hard but I guess that's understandable.
