Does anyone have the Meridian Signature system (that comes with the Active Noise Cancelling - this means you would have Winged Headrests) - I have this in my car, but the car is generally really very noisy at any speed over 45mph. Much much worse than my L405. Buffering over the A-pillars and the door mirrors - along with whistling across the roofline and at the C pillars.

I am wanting to know if anyone has the ACN but experiences a very quiet cabin (which mine is not).

The car is going back again next week for a further investigation - but the dealer has said it is the same as all their current demo stock noise wise. They suspect the ACN is faulty. I am not so sure!

There is lots of discussion on another forum about wind noise problems but nothing on here.

I have ANC and no wind noise or interior noise on mine, as quiet as you like. Sounds like somethings not quite right

I don’t have ANC but also don’t have the sort of wind noise that you describe. Maybe something externally needs adjusting as well as checking out the ANC? MY23 D350 HSE
On my 7th RR plus various other JLR vehicles

last night on the wayback from a meal anc stopped working..very noticable. Came back on about 1km from home..back off this morning. Out of country on weekend so will have to get it to dealer on return.
updated software a few days ago, dont know if connected as it worked after..rain sensing wiper also dont work...hohum.

obviously no details on the fix but at least you know you are not alone it is better to have and not need then need and not have

When I saw this in the technical section for the L405 my heart skipped a beat, am I missing something? Then I realised that the only ANC in my car (standard audio) is the Gaffa tape for SWMBOs mouth  Geoff

How does one know if one has ANC..?

I have Meridian badges on the speaker grills of my MY16 AB and winged headrests.. Does that mean i have it..?

Are there any controls or menu options that would tell me what I have as I read an article that suggets LR didn't introdude this till 2020.?

went to dealer. no faults found screen shot of secret test screen shows no speaker fault. They unplugged aam module and claimed it was noisier but as i was not in the car to hear, having just been on drive with them, just the techs word which seemed false as car is same loudness as before. Inlcluded pics a db meter at 100kmh for comparison. clearly higher than readings kindly posted above by at least 5db(jlr claim a 4 average to 10peak db reduction) so something is off.

they dont have a comprable sound system vehicle to compare as mine has full 39 speakers.
waiting for parts to fix rain sensor and time to fix noisy juddering rear window when opened. So still a work in progress.

ps to access pivipro secret screen press top right screen above clock for 6ish seconds...not my fault if you break it by messing around.

so overall a whole day with no fix.
