Carpet removal help…

Hi all - I need to replace my damaged carpet…

What needs to come out to do this?

The Centre console is out, as are the seats, the climate panel the panel frame, the dashboard covers etc

But I’m trying to work out how much of the dash actually needs to come off? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Ended up taking what I could out (lots) then cutting the carpet at the back where no one sees it Current stable:

Ok awesome, I think I'll be doing the same. I already have everything out that you have done in your first post. Not a fun job really!

I bought a smokers car with the sand colour carpets and there are stains everywhere. I have found a local wreck with all black carpets which will look much better. I bought it without being able to inspect it so trying to make the best of a bad decision. All the bodywork is good and the colour body colour is my wife's favourite... Just need to get the interior up to scratch Smile

I don’t think I needed to the carpet is split above them and the accelerator is just a plug iirc

If they breaker is a 2010 ab or newer get the leather headliner and pullers too and your existing one will sag soon Current stable:
