Just wondered if anyone had purchased a removal/install tool to do their rear subframe bushes and no longer has any use for it. I am prepared to buy my own as plenty of relatively cheap ones with good reviews on eBay. However, before I do I figured it’s worth the ask on here.

I have a Sealey VSE5585 tool set I used on my rear bushes a few years back.
It's for a BMW X53 (X5) but the rear subframes are the same and worked fine with LR OEM bushes.
I went for a known quality brand name kit as last thing I wanted was a half dismantled RR and busted tool!

New the set was £185 back in 2014 and cheapest new today is on Ebay for £190 ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256046830166 ) but I think it has been discontinued, it's no longer listed by Sealey.
It's only been used on one set of bushes.

Weejock, did this work on the upper and lower bushes? If so, I'll take it if the OP hasn't taken it

The tool is purely for the subframe bushes and does both the front and rear bushes on the rear subframe.

The tool is now sold and winging it's way to the OP so sorry Goldstar but thanks Andy

You never know though, when he's done with it it could be looking for a new home
