Strange heat

Hi

Yesterday; a warm day, drove a couple of miles to collect senior management.
The sliding cover directly in front of the mid seat front arm rest was too hot to touch.
The cavern /storage area was hot but not as hot.
Air con was on front and back

Passenger seat was warm

As far as I can tell there are no electrics there.

As a separate issue I have had a wet patch on the passengers side rear foot well. Comes and goes. There wasn’t one yesterday.

Before I confront the dealer, & am told fairy stories, any ideas?

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

The D2 used to wet the passenger footwell when the Air Con was on full pelt, it was a vent pipe.

May be something similar, either way it doesn't right.

With the D2 it was usually drain pipes blocked with mud. Could possibly be that especially if you have been off road. Otherwise not right.

The temperature thing is of concern and may be related to the water. John

On reflection , I think the heat was actually the sun. Embarassed

Will investigate the damp patch! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
